Gear up Girl Workshop

 BNSW*

09 September 2008

Registrations for the next Gear up Girl Workshop on Saturday 29 November 2008 are now open and places are filling fast so make sure you get in quickly to avoid disappointment.

The November Workshop will be slightly different from before as we are replacing breakfast with a delicious lunch after the workshops sessions. This will give you a chance to chat about what you have just learnt, ask some more questions and hopefully meet some new riding friends. And for those who can’t wait to put their new skills to the test there will be the option of going on a short ride through Sydney Olympic Park after lunch.

NEW Workshops – ready for that next level? We are very fortunate to have Matt McEwan from Parkside Physiotherapy running 2 workshops – Injury Prevention and Stretching for Cyclists. Matt McEwan is a Sports Physiotherapist with 17 years experience working with cyclists, triathletes and multisport athletes. He has travelled to Europe with the AIS/Australian National Women's Road Cycling Team, and treats professional and age-group Road and MTB cyclists, Triathletes and Adventure Racers. He has a special interest in in-clinic video analysis of bike position.

Workshop Options for November:

A: Practical Skills – Novice (3 hours)
