Di Fielding has been a cycling advocate for many years. An ex-President of Goulburn BUG, Di has toured the length and breadth of Australia, with 12 years of outback rides under her belt. Since 1995 she has been a regular volunteer for Bicycle NSW and Bicycle Victoria events and was an “archangel” for the Ride to Work program, a program she has been involved with for the past 3 years.
Di is a regular guest speaker at schools, Rotary clubs, CWA and community groups and has conducted cycle workshops and exursions for schools, local council and bug groups.
But it is encouraging kids to ride that really excites her and in her capacity as Regional School Promotions Officer, Di visited over 20 schools in the Illawarra and South Coast area.
