At the beginning of July, the Minister for Transport announced the approval to bring forward funding of the 'missing link' between the path along Old Prospect canal reserve and the paths inside new estate in Pemulway.
A week later the surveyors pegs were up and work is under way!
Not only will this new link give residents safe access to the western Sydney path network, it will also give cyclists passing by along the canal path access to a really good coffee shop.
So 'Thumbs Up' to Holroyd Council for demanding the connection by built and taking the community demands straight to the Minister. |
