Thumbs up to Bathurst Regional Council for the completion of the Morrisset Street cycle link. This newly completed section creates a safe off road environment for cyclists, joggers and family groups to enjoy. The construction of this concrete section now completes a full off road cycle path to several residential estates and outlying villages.
BADBUG would also like to give Bathurst Regional Council Thumbs Up for the continued consultation and meetings with the Combined Bathurst Bicycle User Groups (CBBUGS) in relation to the cities future bike plan. Council is working closely with the group to prioritise cycle facilities including
* Bike Racks in the CBD,
* Maintenance of existing cycle paths and
* Construction of On and Off road cycle paths.
