On Tuesday 13 January Abergeldie the contractor for the $3 million cycling bridge across South Creek at the entrance to Windsor, using two 250 tonne cranes lifted the three sections into position completing the missing link on the Parramatta to Windsor cycleway. The bridge is expected to be open for traffic in March/April and will give a safe option for cyclists visiting the Hawkesbury. Hawkesbury City Council have also agreed to fund cycleways to the tune of $50,000 from a Federal Government grant after two years of no funds being released.
